Two Schools: ONE LOVE
Since their first clash on the field in 1889, the rivalry between these two storied football teams has been nothing short of spectacular. The history of the City vs. Poly Football Classic is rich with excitement, intensity, and fanfare.
Over the years, this epic rivalry has seen it all—nail-biting close games, decisive blowouts, controversies that sparked heated debates, and remarkable decade-long win and losing streaks. This annual classic has produced some of the biggest names in sports and leadership, etching their legacies in history.
But the legacy of the City vs. Poly clash extends far beyond the football field. Over ten years ago, a humble tailgate that started in a Staples parking lot has now evolved into a beloved festival known as City Poly Fest or Poly City Fest, depending on your alma mater. This transformation showcases the deep-rooted love and community spirit that Baltimore City residents and neighbors near and far have for this historic rivalry.
The electrifying showdown between the marching bands, the passionate war chants from students and alumni filling the stands, and the immense pride of earning bragging rights make this one of the greatest rivalries in U.S. public school history.
When was the last time you experienced the LOVE? Join us for CityPoly Fest or PolyCity Fest and be part of the tradition. It's an experience like no other.

GIVING
BACK
Two Schools: One LOVE
CityPoly Fest has incorporated a scholarship fund into its programming to create an organized way of giving back as we celebrate our cherished alma maters.
Over the years, CityPoly Fest has donated more than $15,000 to the Baltimore City College Alumni Association and The Baltimore Polytechnic Foundation.
Additionally, we have sponsored buses for Football Games for Baltimore City College students, purchased game tickets, and paid for breakfast for the student-athletes and the band, among other contributions. This is all made possible through your support of the "Two Schools, One Love" community.
With your ongoing support, we plan to broaden our efforts in giving back to our beloved schools.
